I lay there in the deep green grass Just waiting for the time to pass Staring up at the big blue sky Just watching as the clouds float by The sun shining down from above Just keeping me warm like a glove The smell of summer in the air Just tangling itself in my long hair The sound of birds chirping in the trees Just floating on the gentle breeze I lay there in the deep green grass Just waiting for the time to pass

    I love this poem! It runs together really nicely, and the picture helps express the message of these words...great job!
